In an effort to better understand China’s evolving political system and the role of ideology, the Freeman Chair has commissioned a series of translations of important but largely ignored speeches, reports, and articles that are openly distributed within the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The goal of releasing these documents is to provide further context about the CCP’s goals, ambitions, and capabilities for non-Chinese speakers.
