In conjunction with the CSIS Global Food Security Program, GHPC has been examining global nutrition policy. Investment for global nutrition is one of the most cost-effective public health approaches, with a $16 return on every $1 invested. Nutrition is a critical, low-cost, and highly effective intervention that has far-reaching effects on its own, but also helps ensure the success of other health interventions, such as those targeting maternal, newborn, and child health and infectious disease.
