Human Rights
Human rights are the basic rights possessed by all people, regardless of race, sex, nationality, ethnicity, language, religion, or any other status
Since the 1948 United Nations “Universal Declaration of Human Rights” freedoms of life, expression, safety, work, and education have served as precedence for the construction and enforcement of human rights law and the mandates of humanitarian actors. The recognition of these infallible rights guides the work of the Humanitarian Agenda as the program seeks to advance the efficiency and impact of humanitarian policy, response, and access.
