CSIS is proud to provide world class professional support services on the SeaPort-E contract vehicle to meet the service requirements of all Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Program Executive Offices, Directorates, and field activities.

Functional Areas:

CSIS has extensive depth and breadth across many regional and functional topics, and particularly in the areas of acquisitions logistics support (3.16) and program support (3.20).

SeaPort-E ordering offices can expect CSIS to bring to the table:

  • A proven record of providing a wide variety of U.S. government agencies, specifically the Department of Defense and the Military Services, with independent, original analysis that draws on [deleted a few words] highly-regarded resident and non-resident scholars and on a well-developed network of U.S. and international subject matter experts
  • Extensive knowledge of defense budgets, defense contracts, major defense acquisition programs, and the industrial base supporting the Department of Defense
  • Experience in rigorous quantitative analyses of trends in defense budgets and contract spending
  • In-depth understanding of various policies and regulations affecting specific defense sectors and the effects of legislation, policies, and regulations on defense acquisitions and the industrial base

Through its quality management program, CSIS is committed to working with the U.S. government to ensure high-quality, timely deliverables that satisfy the customer. CSIS maintains detailed internal performance metrics to evaluate progress on task planning/implementation based on cost, schedule, and quality. Quality management may also include feedback from U.S. government officials, “red team” officials, or other stakeholders, as well as from customer satisfaction evaluations, throughout a given contract’s period of performance. Maximum coordination and communication with customers will allow CSIS to provide timely information to U.S. government officials regarding risks or challenges that may arise in task planning/implementation and to recommend pragmatic, corrective actions that would mitigate such risks and challenges.
