Informing and influencing the next steps in nuclear policy
Some of the most insightful work on nuclear policy issues is attributable to an emerging cadre of bright young scholars. However, many of these people are scattered across various agencies and institutions, where they often work independently of their peers in the field, especially those who come at nuclear issues from different political perspectives.
In order to establish a platform for emerging leaders in the field to work together as a collective force, give them experience in forging bipartisan consensus, and infuse the policy debate on a critical nuclear policy issue with fresh thinking from young minds, the Project on Nuclear Issues established the Next Generation Working Group.
