U.S.-Korea Scholar-Policymaker Nexus

The Maureen and Mike Mansfield Foundation's U.S.-Korea Scholar-Policymaker Nexus was designed to help raise the next generation of Korea specialists in the United States who will make the long-term contributions to the U.S.-ROK relationship. Throughout a two-year program, participants discussed issues of importance to U.S.-Korea relations with policymakers, government officials and opinion leaders in Korea and the United States.

Dr. Victor Cha, Dr. David Kang, and Ambassador Kathleen Stephens served as senior advisers.

This program was hosted by the Maureen and Mike Mansfield Foundation in cooperation with the Center for Strategic and International Studies Office of the Korea Chair and University of Southern California Korea Studies Institute and supported by the Korea Foundation and other private corporations.
