Maghreb Analysis

Original research and analysis on the drivers of change in Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, and Libya.

The Middle East program produces original research and analysis on key political, social, economic, and security trends in the Maghreb. The program’s current areas of focus include ongoing political transitions in several Maghreb states, drivers of radicalization and social unrest, state-society relations in the religious sphere, and security challenges including the rise of violent non-state actors and extremist groups which increasingly operate across national boundaries.
