Interviewing the Expert: Amb. William J. Garvelink
Careers in Global Development is a series of events featuring experts who have worked in the field of development for at least twenty years. The series is primarily for young professionals who are interested in working in development. Each event includes a dialogue on the unique expertise of the speaker and their career path. Events will focus on specific development topics; in the past, these have included the role of humanitarian assistance in development and U.S. foreign policy, development as a tool to counter violent extremism, and sectoral issues such as food security, health, and education.
