Exploring the implications of quantum technology for national security and policies for strengthening the U.S. quantum industry
The quantum industry is at an inflection point as the technology moves from academic to applied research. Quantum technology promises to unleash a wave of downstream innovation, carrying with it a range of opportunities and risks. While commercial quantum applications may be decades away, vigorous R&D enterprises and a supporting ecosystem of upstream suppliers are emerging to capitalize on the quantum revolution.
RAI is exploring policies for growing and scaling a quantum industry in the United States to seize the quantum opportunity.
