A Joint U.S.-ROK Cyber Resilience Strategy Project

CSIS and Korea’s NSR conducted joint research analyzing the current U.S.-ROK cybersecurity relationship and proposing strategies to enhance bilateral cyber resilience and response coordination

CSIS and the National Security Research Institute of Korea (NSR) conducted scholarly research examining how a joint U.S.-ROK cyber resilience strategy could enhance cyber resilience in both the United States and South Korea. CSIS and NSR independently analyzed the current state of the U.S.-ROK cybersecurity relationship and the steps needed to strengthen bilateral cybersecurity. Each organization also explored cyberattack response options for both countries and ways to deepen bilateral cooperation to operationalize these options. The following series features the respective analyses from CSIS and NSR.

This project was made possible through the support of NSR.
