Geopolitics and International Security
Analyzing the threats and opportunities shaping global security.
Since the end of the Cold War, the definition of international security has evolved immensely. CSIS is constantly working to engage with diverse actors and issues that present security threats in the twenty-first century. This research is led by the International Security Program, the Arleigh A. Burke Chair in Strategy, and the Zbigniew Brzezinski Chair in Global Security and Geostrategy and includes collaboration with the CSIS regional programs.
