Infectious Disease

Infectious diseases remain one of the leading causes of death worldwide, and efforts to prevent and control their spread make up the majority of U.S. investments in global health.

CSIS’s work on infectious diseases includes research and analysis on the response to and future of traditional diseases like tuberculosis and polio, as well as the challenges of new and evolving diseases such as MRSA.
