Human Mobility
Research and recommendations for U.S. government and multilateral policymakers, development and humanitarian assistance practitioners, private sector actors, and others interested in state fragility and human mobility issues is led by the Project on Fragility and Mobility. Other programs, including CSIS’s Project on Prosperity and Development, Humanitarian Agenda, Global Food Security Program, and Global Health Policy Center, also contribute toward this mission.

The recent increase in violence in Cabo Delgado showcases the limits to a military-centric approach to the conflict in Mozambique and raises questions about what constitutes victory in this area of the country.
