Trevor Allred

Trevor Allred is a learning and development associate at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). His career has been dedicated to education, learning, and readiness. As an entrepreneur, he cofounded a nonprofit center for the narrative arts in his native southern California, where he leveraged storytelling to create programs for public access to learning around civil liberties, science and technology, and the creative industries, and later founded a publishing company committed to producing books as tools for readiness on civil discourse. After moving to Boston, he joined Harvard Business Publishing, where he continued his work in advancing access to education for tangible change. Working with partners such as Apple, Grupo Financiero Banorte, and Pfizer, he delivered training programs around critical business needs concerning essential topics such as change management, strategy implementation, and global collaboration. Trevor arrives at CSIS in a return to purposeful work for bettering the public through access to critical education, combining his passion for curiosity and long-standing love for world languages and global affairs. He is self-taught and certified at B2 in Italian and French, and he holds a master’s in English with a dual emphasis in creative writing and critical theory from California State University, Fullerton.
