Please join the Center for Strategic and International Studies on Wednesday, February 15th for an expert panel discussion assessing Europe one year into the war in Ukraine, featuring CSIS experts Max Bergmann, Director of the Stuart Center and the Europe, Russia, and Eurasia Program, and Dr. Kathleen McInnis, Senior Fellow and Director of the Smart Women, Smart Power Initiative. Additionally, we will be joined by Jim Townsend, former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (DASD) for Europe and NATO Policy, now Adjunct Senior Fellow at the Center for a New American Security (CNAS). The panel, moderated by Donatienne Ruy, Director of the CSIS Executive Education and Abshire-Inamori Leadership Academy, will discuss a range of topics connected to assessing Europe one year into the war, including the impacts on European defense, transatlantic relations, the EU, NATO, and the world at large.
