Loan Programs Office: Where do things stand? 

Please join the CSIS Energy Security and Climate Change Program for a discussion on the status of the Department of Energy’s Loan Programs Office (LPO) as outlined in the proposed reconciliation bills and the President's budget. The discussion will focus on the role of the LPO with respect to national priorities including nuclear energy, energy for AI, and critical minerals. The conversation will feature Emmet Penney, Nick Loris, and James Schaefer. Joseph Majkut, Director of the CSIS Energy Security and Climate Change Program, will moderate the conversation.
