Nikos Tsafos has advised companies and governments in over 30 countries on some of the world’s most complex energy projects—first with PFC Energy (now IHS Markit) and then with enalytica, a company he co-founded in 2014. He is also an adjunct lecturer at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), where he teaches a graduate-level course on natural gas markets and projects. He has written and spoken widely on energy, economics, and politics; he is the author of Beyond Debt: The Greek Crisis in Context (2013); numerous articles in Foreign Affairs, the National Interest, and others; and research papers for the German Marshall Fund of the United States and the National Bureau of Asian Research. Nikos holds a B.A. in international relations and economics from Boston University and an M.A. in international relations from SAIS.
