Jared Siegel

Jared Siegel is an experienced national security professional who has worked at the intersection of technology and national security in government and the private sector. He most recently served at the White House National Security Council as director for international economic strategy, where he crafted long-term U.S. international economic and technology policy. His portfolio spanned U.S.-China competition, semiconductors, trade, and technology supply chains. Previously, he served as director for Western Hemisphere affairs at the National Security Council, where he spearheaded regional partnerships on fifth-generation wireless technology, space, and supply chain resilience with more than a dozen Latin American countries. In this role, he also handled the full range of foreign policy and national security issues for Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, and Paraguay. Prior to joining the National Security Council, he served as a senior advisor on the White House COVID-19 Response team, managing federal programs to distribute the Covid-19 vaccine domestically and internationally and to expand the U.S. supply of tests. Before government, Jared was a consultant at McKinsey & Company and was a member of the firm’s National Security Fellowship. He holds a BA in government from Cornell University.
