Strategic Technologies Program
The CSIS Strategic Technologies Program provides analysis and recommendations that are pragmatic, data-driven, and written for a global audience of policymakers. The current research agenda of the program includes projects on cybersecurity, encryption, digital privacy, innovation, and the future of the internet. These projects explore challenges and opportunities associated with digital technologies that are reshaping the internet, privacy, security, and innovation. The CSIS Strategic Technology Program’s work on cybersecurity, including its Commission on Cybersecurity for the 44th Presidency, continues to shape policy in countries around the world and defines the international agenda on cyber and technology issues.
