Grace Dereemer is the program coordinator for the Hess Center for New Frontiers at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). In her role, she supports the Hess Center’s exploration of global issues shaping the future, including climate and energy, food and water security, technology, and geopolitics. Prior to joining CSIS, Grace worked with the U.S. House of Representatives and the Colorado General Assembly researching climate and agriculture policy. She served as a fellow at The Farmlink Project, where she connected with farmers across the United States, Mexico, and Canada to locate food surpluses and combat food insecurity. Grace graduated Phi Beta Kappa with honors from Colorado College, earning a BA in international political economy.
