Veronica McIntire is the program manager of the Diversity and Leadership in International Affairs Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, a program dedicated to elevating diverse voices and perspectives to re-envision foreign policy using a diversity, equity, and inclusion lens. She previously worked at the Charles B. Rangel International Affairs Program at Howard University, where she designed and implemented the Summer Enrichment Program and oversaw the program’s selection processes. Veronica worked with the U.S. Department of State in the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor, where she received the Franklin Award for her work on the Human Rights Reports. She interned with a boutique strategy firm researching global development and health for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and with a political campaign. Veronica holds a BA in political science with honors from the University of Washington.
