Goa launches the Goa ‘Ujjwala Yojana’ (Luminous Scheme), 2026. Under the scheme, eligible households will receive annual financial assistance of $31.76 (INR 3,000) towards cooking-fuel expenses for the Financial Year 2026-27. The assistance, equivalent to the cost of three domestic LPG refills, will be paid as a one-time lump sum directly into the beneficiary’s Aadhaar-linked bank account through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

Land Acquisition and Labor Regulations  

Andhra Pradesh introduces a Generic Pharmacy Scheme. Andhra Pradesh reclassifies 22.31 acres of land in Nellore Urban District. Ladakh approves the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Councils (Nautor Regularization) Rules, 2026. Nautor Lands are government-granted lands historically assigned to village service providers in lieu of payment for their hereditary duties.
