Golden Dome for America

The Golden Dome for America initiative reorients U.S. homeland air and missile defenses from primarily countering rogue state threats to also addressing challenges posed by major powers such as Russia and China. As the risks of conventional and nuclear long-range missile attacks grow more pronounced, the initiative will shape America's capacity to defend the homeland and operate across domains, including space. CSIS produces leading research on the Golden Dome for America and the technologies critical to its success.
