Brought to you by

The CSIS Renewing American Innovation Program convenes a high-level event to explore how the United States and Japan can strengthen trusted semiconductor supply chains and innovation ecosystems amid growing national security challenges and rapid technological evolution.

Conceived as the first in a series of U.S.-Japan dialogues convening both industry leaders and senior government officials, the event explores opportunities to build more resilient semiconductor R&D and production networks, with a view to developing next-generation chips for artificial intelligence and quantum technologies and ensuring the security of their supply.

Both governments and companies have strong interests in furthering mutually beneficial cooperation, and this event is intended to explore both opportunities and practical measures to support and expand cooperation in this vital, enabling sector.

The event agenda will be available soon.

Due to space restrictions, RSVPs are required in advance for this event and will be reconfirmed via email from the Renewing American Innovation Program. Your event registration is not transferable.

A recording will be available afterward.

This event is made possible through general support to CSIS.
