Jammu & Kashmir Health and Medical Education Department issues a notification declaring human rabies as a notifiable disease under the Epidemic Diseases Act of 1897. As per the notification, all government and private health facilities, including medical colleges have been directed to report any suspected, probable, and confirmed cases of human rabies to the respective Chief Medical Officer and the State Nodal Officer of the National Rabies Control Program. Bihar Electricity Regulatory Commission (BERC) releases the draft Rooftop Solar Grid Interactive Systems Based on Net and Gross Metering (First Amendment) Regulation, 2024. The draft amendment makes significant changes to the existing regulations on grid integration and net metering. As per the amendment, distribution licensees will be required to issue guidelines and procedures for the connectivity of net or gross metering within three months from the date of publication of the new regulation. Gujarat Electricity Regulatory Commission (GERC) notifies the draft Net Metering Rooftop Solar PV Grid Interactive Systems (Fourth Amendment) Regulations, 2024. The draft introduces specific requirements for low- and high-tension customers installing rooftop solar systems to improve the integration of higher solar capacities into the grid while maintaining fair cost distribution. The regulator has waived the requirement for a technical feasibility study for rooftop systems with a maximum capacity of 10 kW.
