Nina Tarr

Nina Tarr is the special assistant and executive officer to the president at CEO at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). In this role, she oversees operations within the Office of the President and supports special events. Prior to this role, Nina worked as program manager for the Abshire-Inamori Leadership Academy and Executive Education at CSIS, where she supported the academy’s mission of providing global leaders with development opportunities in leadership and foreign policy. Nina started at CSIS as an intern with the Office of External Relations. She graduated with honors from Virginia Tech with a BS in human development and a minor in political science. In addition to her work at CSIS, she serves on the board of the Maasai Education Foundation.
