The Caribbean
The United States is the Caribbean’s major trading partner and has also fostered close defense cooperation with several of the region’s sovereign nations and European overseas dependencies. CSIS scholars explore these relationships as well as the region’s economic integration, social and economic development, and foreign policy coordination.
