Takeaways from the 2026 International AIDS Conference

The 26th International AIDS Conference took place between July 26-31^st, 2026 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This bi-annual conference brings together stakeholders ranging from community activists, ministers of health, policymakers, and private sector officials leading the market in HIV innovation. This year's conference theme, "Rethink. Rebuild. Rise." focused sessions on the best options for delivering HIV services to populations amidst a decreased funding environment and how country governments are working to ensure population access to innovative prevention, diagnostic, and treatment tools in a sustainable way. Please join the CSIS Global Health Policy Center for a discussion reflecting on the major science and policy takeaways from the 26th International AIDS Conference. J.
