Telangana releases guidelines for the New Employees Health Scheme (NEHS). The guidelines raise the cashless medical coverage limit from $2,093 to $3,140 (INR 2 lakh to 3 lakh) per episode of illness, with no limit on the total number of episodes.

Gujarat amends GERC (Terms and Conditions for Green Energy Open Access) (Sixth Amendment) Regulations, 2026. The regulations issued by the Gujarat Electricity Regulatory Commission (GERC) reduce banking charges for green energy open access consumers to $0.010 from 0.015 (INR 1.5 to 1) per unit.

Karnataka increases per unit charges to consumers generating solar rooftop power and selling it to the grid. The Karnataka Electricity Regulatory Commission (KERC) directed that consumers selling solar rooftop power to the grid will get $0.0407 (INR 3.89) per unit, without subsidy, up from $0.0404 (INR3.86) per unit earlier.

Assam proposes the AERC (Electricity Ombudsman) (Second Amendment) Regulations, 2026. The amendment seeks to modify the Assam Electricity Regulatory Commission (AERC) (Electricity Ombudsman) Regulations, 2022, particularly the provisions governing the pay, allowances, and other benefits of the Electricity Ombudsman.

Himachal Pradesh approves HPERC Rooftop Solar PV Grid Interactive System (Fourth Amendment) Regulations, 2015. The amendment, issued by the Himachal Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (HPERC), aims to simplify the process for consumers installing rooftop solar systems in the state.
