Please join the Trustee Chair for Chinese Business & Economics for this online event featuring Joanna I. Lewis, Provost's Distinguished Associate Professor of Energy and Environment and Director of Science, Technology and International Affairs Program (STIA) at Georgetown University's Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service. Lewis will discuss her new book Cooperating for the Climate: Learning from International Partnerships in China's Clean Energy Sector. Lewis will talk about her comprehensive analysis of international clean energy partnerships with China, including her findings from hundreds of interviews with policymakers, companies, and researchers in energy innovation.
In this online event, Lewis will share the findings of her book followed by a discussion about China’s trajectory and the implications for global governance and the U.S.-China relationship with three distinguished panelists Fan Dai from Berkeley Law, David Vance Wagner from the Energy Foundation China, and Erica Thomas from the Information Technology Industry Council. Ilaria Mazzocco, Senior Fellow for the Trustee Chair in Chinese Business and Economics, will host and moderate the discussion, first with the group, and then with the audience.
