In May 2023, Japan will host the annual G7 summit in Hiroshima. Leaders of the world's largest advanced market democracies will meet to discuss the most pressing global concerns, including a range of critical economic and trade issues. In keynote remarks at CSIS, the Honorable Yasutoshi Nishimura, Japan's Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), will outline Japan's 2023 G7 priorities and articulate his vision for the future economic order.
