A New Era in the U.S.-Philippines Alliance: A Discussion with Foreign Secretary Enrique Manalo

The CSIS Southeast Asia Program is honored to host the Philippine Secretary of Foreign Affairs, Enrique Manalo, as part of the CSIS ASEAN Leadership Forum. This online event will take place from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. on April 10 ahead of the U.S.-Philippines Two-Plus-Two Ministerial Dialogue. The first in seven years, the dialogue will bring together the top defense and foreign affairs officials from each country to advance the U.S.-Philippine partnership. Secretary Manalo will provide a preview of the meetings and discuss the modernization of the alliance over the past year.

The CSIS ASEAN Leadership Forum provides a platform for senior officials from Southeast Asia to address pressing issues of the day before a Washington, DC-based policy audience.
