Online Event: The Kill Chain: Defending America in the Future of High-Tech Warfare
Is the US military prepared for a possible conflict with China? Please join Freeman Chair in China Studies Jude Blanchette for a discussion with Chris Brose on his new book, The Kill Chain: Defending America in the Future of High-Tech Warfare. In it, Chris makes the provocative argument that the US military is unprepared for future conflicts, including with its most pressing strategic rivals, including China and Russia. Chris is Head of Strategy at Anduril Industries and Senior Fellow at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. From 2015-18, he was staff director of the Senate Armed Services Committee, where he was responsible for leading the production, negotiation, and passage of four National Defense Authorization Acts (FY16-19), which set policy and authorized spending for all U.S. national defense activities.
This event is made possible by general support to CSIS.
