Join the Trustee Chair in Chinese Business & Economics for a discussion with leading experts who have returned from recent trips to China. Deborah Seligsohn, Assistant Professor at Villanova University, and Craig Allen, President of the U.S.-China Business Council, will discuss the purpose of their trips, their experience going through Zero-Covid, their impressions about Chinese society and the economy, and views they heard about the United States. The moderator, CSIS Senior Adviser and Trustee Chair in Chinese Business & Economics Scott Kennedy, will conclude the event with a discussion of U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s trip to Beijing as well as prospects for U.S.-China relations and people-to-people exchanges.
