Join CSIS on October 2nd for a symposium on artificial intelligence in the Department of Justice, with keynote remarks from Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General Nicole M. Argentieri, Vice Chair of the bipartisan Congressional Artificial Intelligence Caucus Rep. Don Beyer (VA-08), Chair of the Council of Europe's Convention on Artificial Intelligence Thomas Schneider, and Executive Assistant Director of the Science and Technology Branch / Chief AI Officer at the Federal Bureau of Investigation Jacqueline Maguire. The event will examine how the DOJ is responsibly approaching AI and AI's use in law enforcement activities. Panelists and keynote speakers will cover a range of topics including AI and governance at the DOJ, the use of AI in crime, civil rights and the state of international AI law.
