Hugh Nolan Grant-Chapman

Hugh Grant-Chapman is an associate fellow with the China Power Project at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). His research focuses on trade, political economy, and technology policy in the context of U.S.-China relations. Hugh recently served as a Rosenthal Fellow at the Taiwan office of the U.S. Department of Commerce International Trade Administration. He previously worked at the Center for Democracy & Technology and has completed a Fulbright Grant in Kinmen, Taiwan. Hugh received a master's in public policy from the Harvard Kennedy School, where he conducted thesis research on emerging semiconductor industry trends and industrial policy support. He also holds a BA in political science from Westmont College.
