Corporations

CSIS receives funding from many types of corporations, including the defense industry, the financial sector, and more. Corporate donors are categorized as corporate members or corporate partners.

Corporate Members

CSIS has corporate members who donate between $35,000 and $650,000 or more. These corporations contribute annually to the Center and in return they are given exclusive access to the Center’s research and its scholars. Corporations may receive private briefings from our scholars on global issues, and they are regularly invited to private roundtables on the most pressing topics in national security.

Corporate Partners

CSIS programs and projects have direct relationships with many corporate donors. These donors give funding for specific project activities, such as reports, event series, or briefing series. Other corporate donors provide general funding to individual programs to maintain their scholarship portfolio.

In some cases, the same corporate donor may be funding multiple programs. If you have questions about the nature of the funding of these corporate partners, please reach out to Eri Hirano. If you are interested in becoming a corporate partner, please reach out to Fredrick Anyanwu.
