CEO Speaker Session with Scott Sheffield

The CSIS Energy and National Security Program is pleased to host Scott Sheffield, Chairman and CEO of Pioneer Natural Resources, to discuss developments in the U.S. onshore oil and gas industry. Mr. Sheffield has held the position of CEO for Pioneer Natural Resources since August 1997 and assumed the position of chairman of the board in August 1999. In this position Mr. Sheffield heads one of the leading producers of unconventional oil and gas in the United States. Mr. Sheffield will share his views on recent market developments and regulatory changes in the oil and gas landscape, as well as Pioneer's strategy for addressing the challenges and opportunities facing the industry today and in the future. Sarah Ladislaw, Director and Senior Fellow with the CSIS Energy and National Security Program, will moderate.
