A Fifth-Generation Air Force: Alliance Structures and Networked Capabilities from an Australian Perspective

The CSIS Alliances and American Leadership Project is pleased to host Air Marshal Leo Davies, AO, CSC, Chief of the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF). Air Marshal Davies will discuss Australia's plans to develop a Fifth Generation Air Force within the context of its alliance with the United States. He will address the significance of strong personal and institutional relationships for the development of Australia’s fifth-generation Air Force and the interoperability implications of this force in our current regional and global security environment.
