Online Event: International Perspective, Domestic Leadership

December 17, 2020 • 11:00 – 11:45 am EST

The United States has historically been a champion of global humanitarian issues. As new domestic challenges arise in healthcare, education, and economic policy as a result of the pandemic, expertise drawn from addressing international challenges is even more important for domestic leadership. This event will explore the lessons learned from a policymaker's humanitarian experience and how they apply to decision-making at the local, state, and federal levels.

The CSIS Humanitarian Agenda is pleased to host Molly Gray, Lieutenant Governor-Elect of the State of Vermont, for a discussion on applying her experiences with the International Committee of the Red Cross within her community and the importance of global experiences for domestic leadership.

This event is made possible through general support to CSIS.
