Press Briefing: Analyzing the Australian Election and Its Implications for U.S.-Australia Relations

The Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) will host a call-in press briefing on Monday, April 28, at 4:00 p.m. EDT to assess Australia’s upcoming election, to be held on May 3, and analyze its implications for U.S.-Australia relations. Experts will also discuss how the current Australian government is likely to portray its accomplishments and path forward, how the opposition will prosecute the national security debate, and the potential effects on Australia’s defense environment.
