Reshore, Reroute, Rebalance: A U.S. Strategy for Clean Energy Supply Chains

May 25, 2021 • 12:00 – 1:00 pm EDT

The CSIS Energy Security & Climate Change Program is pleased to invite you to a presentation and discussion on Reshore, Reroute, Rebalance: A U.S. Strategy for Clean Energy Supply Chains, a new report on the geopolitics of clean energy supply.

As renewable energy technologies mature and get deployed at scale, there is a greater need to think strategically about this system. Reshore, Reroute, Rebalance argues that the United States can apply some of the mental models, tools, and institutions used for conventional energy sources to think about supply chains in clean energy—and, in doing so, grow its economy and boost its national security.

Following a brief presentation of the report’s highlights by Nikos Tsafos (CSIS Energy Security & Climate Change Program), the event will feature a panel discussion with co-author Sarah Ladislaw (RMI) and Laszlo Varro (International Energy Agency).

This event is made possible by support from the Climate Imperative Foundation.
