CSIS Named the World’s #1 Defense and National Security Think Tank for Sixth Year Running

The Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) is pleased to announce that it has been named the world’s number one Defense and National Security think tank for the sixth year in a row. The ranking was announced in the 2016 Global Go To Think Tank Index Report compiled by the University of Pennsylvania’s Think Tanks and Civil Societies Program (TTCSP) at the Lauder Institute.

CSIS was also ranked number one for “Think Tank with the Most Innovative Policy Ideas/Proposals.”

In addition, CSIS repeated its success from 2015 with number one rankings for “Best External Relations/Public Engagement Program” and “Best Use of Media (Print or Electronic).”
