Alessandra Ravelo is a program manager with the Energy Security and Climate Change Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies. She is a communications and policy professional specializing in strategic and intercultural communications. Her work centers on supporting programmatic initiatives through thoughtful messaging, partnership-building, and public engagement. She has contributed to the development and execution of public-facing communications, turning complex policy issues more accessible and shaping public discourse. She has held previous roles at the Sine Institute of Politics and Policy at American University, the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Washington, D.C., and the Center for International Policy. Alessandra holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government and Sociology, as well as a master’s degree in international and intercultural communication from American University’s School of International Service.
