Alexis Day is an associate director within the Defense and Security Department. In this role, she directly supports the President of the Defense and Security Department in his day-to-day activities. Additionally, she supports a range of initiatives, including the department’s military fellow program, the Strategy and Statecraft Fellowship, the Smart Women, Smart Power Initiative, the Maritime Security Dialogue series, and The Last Line of Defense podcast. Previously, she interned and volunteered for the United Nations Association, San Diego Chapter. Alexis holds a BA in political science and communication studies from the University of San Diego.
