
Alexis Day is an associate director for the Smart Women, Smart Power Initiative at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). Her focus areas include transatlantic security and the intersection of gender and national security. Previously, she interned and volunteered for the United Nations Association, San Diego Chapter. Alexis holds a BA in political science and communication studies from the University of San Diego. She started at CSIS as an intern in October 2020 and has been a part of the team full-time since March 2021.
