Jennifer Jun
Jennifer Jun is an associate fellow and project manager for satellite imagery analysis with the iDeas Lab and Korea Chair at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). She has contributed to imagery analysis of North Korea, Russia, China, Afghanistan, Venezuela, Mali, and other regions. Jennifer is also a non-resident fellow at the University of Vienna's European Centre for North Korean Studies. Her interests include international security, GEOINT, and North Korea’s military infrastructure. She has published original research on the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency’s Tearline project. Before joining CSIS, she worked at the Pew Research Center and C4ADS. Jennifer holds a BA in political science with a minor in survey research and data analytics from the University of Pennsylvania and an MS in geospatial intelligence at Johns Hopkins University. She received the 2023 Maxar Scholarship from the United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation. She is fluent in Korean.
