José Romero is a web developer in the iDeas Lab at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, where he works with the team to create websites, visualizations, and interactive features for policy audiences. He is passionate about using advances in technology to solve complex problems and improve the everyday lives of people around the world, especially those in his home country of Paraguay. He studied computer engineering at Universidad Católica Nuestra Señora de la Asunción in San Ignacio, Paraguay, before moving to the United States and attending a software engineering bootcamp at Flatiron School.
