Ndidi Okonkwo Nwuneli is an expert on food ecosystems, entrepreneurship, social innovation, and youth development, with over 25 years of international development experience. She founded LEAP Africa and African Food Changemakers, and cofounded the Sahel Consulting Agriculture & Nutrition Ltd. and AACE Foods Processing & Distribution Ltd. Ndidi serves on the boards of Rockefeller Foundation, AGRA, Nigerian Breweries Plc. (Heineken), Godrej Consumer Products Ltd. India, Stanbic IBTC Group, the Young Global Leaders of the World Economic Forum, and the Bridgespan Group. Her vast philanthropic experience includes serving as director for the African Philanthropy Forum, cofounder of the MUNA Foundation and Wealth4Impact, and involvement with several global and regional foundations. Ndidi is a TED speaker, a Schwab Fellow, and World Economic Forum Young Global Leader. She was a senior fellow at the Mossavar-Rahmani Center for Business and Government at the Harvard Kennedy School, visiting Scholar at Max Bell School of Public Policy at McGill University, an Aspen Institute New Voices Fellow, and an Eisenhower Fellow. She has received the Nigerian Government’s National Honor Award and the Harvard Business School Distinguished Alumni Award. Ndidi has authored three books: Social Innovation in Africa: A Practical Guide for Scaling Impact, Food Entrepreneurs in Africa: Scaling Resilient Agriculture Businesses, and Working for God in the Marketplace. She holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School and a BS from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
