Chhattisgarh notifies “Terms and Conditions for Determination of Tariff for Renewable Energy Sources Regulations, 2025. The regulation applies to renewable energy projects that will begin commercial operations between April 1, 2025, and March 31, 2030, and the Chhattisgarh State Electricity Regulatory Commission (CSERC) will determine both generic and project-specific tariffs.

Gujarat launches the Gujarat Electronics Component Manufacturing Policy-2025 (GECMS-2025). Under the new policy the state government will offer 100 per cent top-up incentives for projects approved by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), offering dual benefits from both the Centre and the state. The strategic target sectors are multi-layer and HDI printed circuit boards (PCBs), lithium-ion battery cells, specialised machinery etc.

Tamil Nadu launches revised Comprehensive Mini-Bus Scheme. The revised scheme extends mini-bus services to 25,708 kilometres of unserved areas in the State. Key features of the scheme include an increased maximum route length of 25 km, with at least 65 per cent of the route required to cover areas currently underserved by regular bus services. The routes may also be extended to nearby public facilities such as libraries, hospitals, government offices, or schools if they fall within a one-kilometre radius of the route endpoint.

The Ministry of Education releases 2023-24 Performing Grade Index 2.0. According to the periodical report that assesses school education at the district level, no state or union territory has reached the top four performance grades. Chandigarh tops the ranking, and Meghalaya is ranked at the bottom. The interstate performance disparity has declined from 51 per cent in 2017-18 to 41 per cent in 2023-24.
