Sakshi Kataria

Sakshi Kataria is a program coordinator and research assistant for the Chair on India and Emerging Asia Economics at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). She provides programmatic and research support to energy efficiency, electric mobility, and healthcare projects and assists with stakeholder engagement and sub-national diplomacy. Sakshi holds a master’s in public policy from George Washington University, specializing in national security and foreign policy. Before CSIS, Sakshi worked with the Council on Foreign Relations, supporting the Council’s digital content and video production efforts on economic and national security, geopolitics, and foreign policy issues. She also worked with the Regulatory Studies Centre, initially as a communications assistant supporting the Centre’s education and outreach efforts and later as a research assistant, focusing on AI regulation for safeguarding national security. Sakshi earned a bachelor’s degree in design (film and video) in India, where she directed documentary films raising awareness on social policy issues.
